    Our Story

    Le Maître du Thé is a passion project born in 2013, within a Kung Fu school in Saint-Eustache. Founded by Hugo Leboeuf, the company's roots lie in the union of martial arts, oriental wisdom, and the search for natural balance.

    What began with a rigorous selection of about thirty teas has transformed into recognized expertise. Today, the store offers over 150 exceptional products. This evolution was built on prestigious collaborations, notably with Camellia Sinensis and La Clef des Champs, as well as on direct imports from artisan producers worldwide.

    The name "Maître du Thé" (Tea Master) pays homage to the martial teaching and benevolence conveyed by Hugo's Chinese master, who reminded him at each training session that tea is above all an ally for health and inner harmony.

The majority of our ingredients come from suppliers that hold an organic certification recognized by accredited organizations. However, following discussions with the authorities responsible for the protection of appellations and regulated terms, we have been advised not to use the terms "organic" or "bio" on our website or packaging, as long as we do not hold the required authorizations ourselves.

What does the "Naturally Grown" label guarantee?

It guarantees that ingredients come from crops grown without synthetic products, that traceability is rigorously verified, and that methods adhere to responsible agricultural practices.
