White willow bark 50g

Anti-inflammatory

Herbal tea to relieve fever and headaches.

Acts as an antirheumatic: Disorders of arthritis, back and joint rheumatism (knees and hips).

Relieves tendonitis and bursitis and lower back pain.

Interaction with drugs

• Unlike acetylsalicylic acid (e.g. Aspirin®), the antiplatelet effects of willow bark seem too weak for there to be a significant interaction between the herb and synthetic drugs with similar effects .

Dosage:

Bring 150-250ml of water to a boil with 2-3g of willow bark and simmer for approximately 5 minutes
