JAPANESE GREEN TEA

Genmaicha is a traditional Japanese blend in which roasted rice grains are added to green tea leaves.

Normally produced in autumn in anticipation of the cold season, its peasant origins go back a long way in the country's history.

Popular in winter for its warmth and comfort, it's easy to drink at any time of day because it's low in caffeine.

  Preparation in a teapot 

  1 tsp / 250 ml water.

       85 ° Celsius  

      4 to 5 minutes.
