A roasted green tea for latte or mild infusion
Originally from Japan, Hojicha is a green tea that has been roasted at high temperatures, transforming its vegetal aromas into warm notes of toasted cereals, sweet wood and roasted hazelnut. This unique roasting process gives the tea a coppery color and a rounded, bitter-free taste.
Traditionally drunk as a simple infusion, Hojicha is now also available as a fine powder, perfect for sweet, comforting lattes, hot or iced. Its taste evokes calm afternoons, rainy days, or moments when you're looking for discreet warmth, without excitement.
Benefits
Hojicha is traditionally appreciated for its comforting, digestive effect, particularly after meals or in the evening. Its low theine content makes it ideal for moments when you want to soothe the body and mind, without causing excessive arousal. Its roasted aromas can also accompany autumn routines, periods of transition or the need for sweetness without heaviness.
