The balance of Yabukita: the classic expression of Uji matcha
Sourced from the renowned terroirs of Uji, this premium matcha is made from the Yabukita cultivar, the most iconic in Japan. Known for its natural balance, Yabukita yields a matcha that is structured, harmonious, and profoundly vegetal.
The tea plants are carefully cultivated and protected from the sun before harvesting, a traditional practice that promotes aromatic richness and a smooth mouthfeel. Once ground into a fine powder, the leaf reveals a bright green color and a clean fragrance, reminiscent of fresh grass, young shoots, and a light marine note.
In the cup, the initial taste is smooth, followed by a controlled bitterness, characteristic of Yabukita, which provides depth and length without being overpowering. The texture is smooth and balanced, with a fresh and lingering finish. This matcha offers a clear and stable energy, ideal for concentration, meditation, or a demanding yet accessible daily ritual.
A Uji matcha designed for those who seek accuracy, tradition and consistency, in an authentic expression of Japanese tea.
