The depths of the Jingmai mountains: woody, mineral Pu Er
Harvested at an altitude of 1,600 meters on the misty slopes of the Jingmai Mountains in the Yunnan region, this Pu Er Shou 2016 is the fruit of ancestral know-how. The large leaves, slowly fermented, give birth to a dark, rich and harmonious tea.
When infused, the cup is deep and almost opaque. The first notes evoke damp earth after rain, humus and baked clay. Gradually, oaky nuances, dried fruits (prune, date) and a minty freshness emerge. On the palate, the texture is enveloping, soft and bitter-free.
A Pu Er that's easy to enjoy, inviting slow contemplation.
