In the heart of Sichuan, a Chinese province renowned for its flower-scented teas, Hua Xiang Zi – “Flower Fairy” – expresses a rare refinement. Originating from the village of Meng Ding, it combines a high-grade green tea, composed of buds and young leaves, with the delicate aroma of freshly picked jasmine blossoms.

Three cycles of perfumement imbue the tea with their enchanting fragrance, before a fourth batch of flowers is added to enhance the aroma and beauty of the whole. Its transformation process, combining dry heat and steam, atypical in China, accentuates its vibrancy.

When brewed, the leaves unfurl, yielding a golden cup with powerful aromas, a blend of vegetal sweetness and heady jasmine. A fruity nuance of Asian pear emerges, prolonging the aromatic finish of this vibrant and luminous tea.
