Digestive: thanks to its mucilages, lemon verbena soothes pain and reduces feelings of heaviness in the stomach, eliminates flatulence and calms nausea.

It stimulates digestion. Slightly sedating, its essential oil contains terpenoids, which act on the central nervous system.

Energizing: for the same reason, lemon verbena helps fight depression, stress and anxiety and treats related gastrointestinal disorders.
