An altitude black tea with spicy and gourmet notes

Hailing from the remote mountains of Sung Dô in northern Vietnam, this black tea comes from ancient tea trees up to 250 years old. Cultivated in a preserved environment, these deeply rooted trees produce a tea of great richness, both stable and nuanced.

The long, twisted leaves bear witness to precise artisanal work, where light rolling preserves the integrity of the leaf and the expression of the terroir. When brewed, the cup reveals a round and silky texture, supported by delicately spicy notes reminiscent of white pepper.

On the palate, the experience is enveloping: notes of honeycomb toffee and dried tropical fruits, like mango, mingle with woody nuances evoking mild tobacco. A subtly mentholated freshness elegantly concludes the tasting.

Moderately caffeinated, this tea is suitable for both moments of concentration and times of calm. It will particularly appeal to lovers of Chinese black teas looking for an expressive and accessible alternative.
