Three original iced tea recipes by Le Maître du Thé

Iced tea isn't just a summer drink, it's an art. With a few simple ingredients, it can become gourmet, fruity, refreshing... or all at once. Today, the Master shares three homemade creations: a creamsicle version with orange, a rooibos with Quebec blueberries, and a matcha with strawberries and coconut milk.

1. Promenade à Florence" gourmet iced tea (creamsicle style)

Ingredients (1 large glass)

  • 250 ml tea A walk in Florence brewed hot and cooled
  • 1 tablespoon orange marmalade
  • 1 fresh orange slice (for decoration)
  • Ice cubes (ideally tea cubes)
  • A touch of homemade or store-bought whipped cream

Preparation

  1. Infuse 1 tsp. Promenade à Florence in 250 ml hot water (95°C, 3 min.).
  2. Strain, then leave to cool.
  3. Place the orange marmalade in a glass and pour the cooled tea over it. Stir to dissolve.
  4. Add ice cubes and a slice of orange.
  5. Garnish with whipped cream.

Result: A rich, gourmet iced tea, reminiscent of an Italian-style "creamsicle".

2. Iced Rooibos with fresh blueberries

Ingredients (1 large glass)

  • 250 mlQuebecBlueberry rooibos , hot-brewed and cooled
  • 1 tablespoon fresh blueberry purée (a few blueberries crushed with a fork)
  • 1 tsp. maple syrup
  • A dozen whole blueberries for the garnish
  • Ice cubes

Preparation

  1. Infuse 1 tsp. Quebec Blueberry rooibos in 250 ml hot water (95°C, 5 min.).
  2. Strain, then leave to cool.
  3. In a glass, mash the blueberries with the maple syrup to form a purée.
  4. Add ice cubes, pour in cooled rooibos.
  5. Garnish with a few whole blueberries.

Result: A fruity, slightly sweet, theine-free iced tea - perfect for any time of day.

3. Iced Matcha with strawberries and coconut milk

Ingredients (1 large glass)

  • 1 teaspoon Matcha (Kumo or Camellia or strawberry-flavoured)
  • 50 ml hot water (75°C)
  • 100 ml coconut milk
  • 100 ml strawberry juice (or Simply Strawberry)
  • A few sliced fresh strawberries
  • Ice cubes (ideally frozen strawberry juice)

Preparation

  1. Whisk the matcha with the hot water to form a smooth mousse.
  2. Place the ice cubes and sliced strawberries in a glass.
  3. Pour in the strawberry juice, then the coconut milk.
  4. Finish with the whipped matcha.

The result: a colorful, layered iced drink that combines the sweetness of strawberries with the depth of matcha.
